Come join us for our hiring event at Cedar Rose Park in Berkeley on Sunday, October 27th from 10:30am to 12pm. You will be able to observe our classes and participate in a pickup soccer game! We hope to see you there!Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8.You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. You’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our kids will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.LOCATIONAlameda, Oakland, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Castro Valley, and HaywardWe are looking for a part-time coach to work in Alameda, Oakland, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Castro Valley, and Hayward 15 hours a week.Local candidates only please (no work status or visa sponsorship available)PART-TIME SCHEDULE or FULL-TIME SCHEDULEHours between M-F, 8:30am-5:30pm (and Sat/Sun 9am-1pm)Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.What We Offer:

Schedule:

• Flexibility – We only schedule sessions closest to you, with opportunities to change availability from season to season (winter/spring/summer/fall)
• Mondays through Fridays: mornings, afternoons, and evenings are optional
• Saturdays: mornings are required
• A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

The Job:

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
• Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers
