You will partner with our Product Owners and your squad mates to plan, design, develop, deploy and support our business banking web and mobile application. You should be extremely comfortable delivering client value in an agile environment and are a team player that brings your considerable breadth and depth of development expertise to the table each day.You are an analytical thinker and are familiar and enjoy working with microservice architectures, serverless code, cloud-native software and other cutting edge software development technologies. You have a deep understanding of fundamentals of software engineering, Agile principles and CI/CD practices. Experience creating mobile automated tests for a hybrid web app using Selenium / Appium for both iOS and Android and setting up a continuous integration pipeline using Selenium Grid / Appium is highly preferable for this role.AccountabilitiesWork independently and within a team to research and develop products in line with ATB’s strategy, including analysis of the product and technical product solution.Work with the team to explore new ideas through experiment, prototypes and fast feedback.Focus on open standards and open source before seeking a proprietary solution to a problem.Work with the Architecture team to adopt new technologies, processes and practices for efficiency and security.Liaise with Product, UX, Architecture and other cross functional teams to deliver stories on-timeLive, breathe and work in the CloudUtilize SCRUM and Agile methodologies to complete tasks and accomplish workflowsCreate and maintain accurate run books for technical product troubleshooting.Ensure changes to a product are performed within ATB’s defined change control process.Ensure adherence to ATB’s security procedures and protocols.Provide on-call and after hours support as assigned, on a rotational basis for technical product support.Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and nonverbal)Skills, experience & requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field at an accredited college or university OR equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of software development experience in various programming languages
  • Intimate knowledge of:
  • Hybrid Web app mobile automation testing
  • Selenium Grid / Appium Server setup and administration
  • UI Web Automation using Selenium/Java
  • Capacitor Hybrid app development
  • React / Node.js / Python Development
  • Integration testing REST / SOAP API’s
  • Builds in either iOS and/or Android
  • Experience in designing and developing scalable, performant and responsive applications.
  • Experience with Docker, Google Cloud Platform and microservice architectures is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
  • Experience with relational/non-relational databases such as PostgresQL , MongoDB, etc.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Extensive experience Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and nonverbal).
