Job DescriptionJob ID#:4484Job Category:Information TechnologyWe are seeking an experienced and visionary EDI Manager to lead our client’s electronic data interchange (EDI) operations. This individual will oversee all aspects of EDI systems, ensuring seamless implementation and execution of solutions tailored to meet client needs. - Inspire and lead a team of EDI specialists to achieve operational excellence.
- Handle team activities, including hiring, mentoring, task delegation, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that drives innovation.
- Partner with clients to understand their unique EDI requirements and translate them into customized solutions.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by providing clear communication, timely updates, and effective problem resolution.
- Manage the design, development, testing, and maintenance of EDI systems and processes.
- Develop and oversee EDI transactions, mapping, and standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) to meet industry compliance and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and leverage them to enhance operational capabilities.
Job RequirementsQualifications of the EDI Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI management or data analysis.
- Proven leadership experience, even within small teams of 1-2 individuals.
- Expertise in EDI systems and tools, with hands-on experience in Eclipse and Epicor preferred.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols, including X12 and EDIFACT.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
